The Full Cheek Waterford Snaffle with German Silver and Copper Mix is designed to offer comfort and flexibility for the horse. The mouthpiece consists of a series of rounded links, similar to a chain, which allows the horse to manipulate the bit, promoting natural movement and swallowing.

If the horse pulls while wearing the Waterford, the bit becomes uncomfortable, discouraging the horse from leaning on it. The Waterford bit is typically chosen one size larger than the horse's usual bit to ensure proper fit and freedom of movement.
