2. Open the top hinged cover of the shavette fully.

3. Split the blade holder so the shavette is fanned out into three parts.

4. Carefully take one half of the snapped blade and align it with the location pins.

5. Close the other side of the blade holder over the blade until the pins fit into the holes. If the blade shifts slightly, gently push it back into place without using your fingers on the blade edge (it is sharp).

6. Push the hinged cover back over the blade holder. A small, even portion of the blade edge should now be visible.
